Dangote Cement in Côte d’Ivoire
Dangote Cement plans to build a 1.5mt grinding plant in the port of Abidjan to serve mainly the domestic market. With a population of 20.6 million, the country’s consumption of cement is low at around 64kg per person, according to Global Cement Report X. With no limestone deposits of its own, Côte d’Ivoire is obliged to import cement. As a solution, the factory can be supplied with clinker produced in Nigeria or elsewhere. From Côte d’Ivoire – which is part of the ECOWAS trading zone – we can reach the previously under-served territories of the ECOWAS region.
At Dangote Cement, we are committed to becoming a global force in cement. Talented people are what make the company successful and we need to employ the very best in order to achieve our goal. We hope this might be you! If you are among the brightest and the best and relish the challenge of helping us achieve our goals, please check for vacancies in our recruitment portal.
